I feel for each applicant who has to endure a long delay on an immigration case. It's probably one of the most common questions an immigration attorney receives: "Are there any updates to my case yet?" It's no wonder applicants are wondering why their immigration applications are taking so long. There is, hopefully, some comfort in knowing they are not alone. Statistics in the flyer below show the dramatic uptick in processing times over the past several years. USCIS has also been working on new features through their MyUSCIS account that allow users to obtain more personalized estimates about case processing times.
